Songs for Independence Day

This year, on July 4th the United States marks its 250th anniversary of American Independence. While not specifically a liturgical observance, many churches across denominations have come to celebrate this day in various ways. This article is not a debate over the liturgical merits of such recognition, but a resource for worship sites already planning to commemorate Independence Day at their services. These suggestions would also be appropriate for secular celebrations of Independence Day.
